Can you wear contact lenses a little?

Contact lenses themselves are very easy to break, no matter whether the user is skilled or not, they may occur at any time during the whole process of use.

Specifically, there are different types of contact lens breakage. The first is the subtle scratches, although not easy to find, but it is likely to have serious discomfort after wearing, generally need to be put on the wearing stick to repeatedly check against the light. The second is a small crack, mostly in the edge, more easy to be found, the corneal tissue wear is large, usually such a lens worn into the eyes may be difficult to open the eyes. Finally, the more serious damage is when the lens breaks directly into several pieces, which is clearly irreparable, with a new pair of contact lenses.

The causes of the contact lens rupture are also different. In general, scratches are mostly caused by nails, and in the process of rubbing or picking and wearing, if the nails are too long, it is easy to leave scratches. Most of the cracks is due to the use of tweezers, or part of the lens is pressed when the lid is twisted into the double box. If the lens is completely broken, its basically dehydrated and dry, so it breaks it.

So, can the broken contact lenses continue to wear? The answer, of course, is no. On the one hand, broken contact lenses will bring additional wear and damage to the eye surface; on the other hand, after the lens itself breaks, its elasticity and surface tension will change, and the probability of continuing to damage is very large. Therefore, in order to avoid unnecessary harm, it is not recommended to wear broken contact lenses.

In a word, we must carefully check the contact lenses before wearing them, and find that the broken contact lenses should be thrown away in time, because the broken contact lenses will not only damage the cornea, but also easily cause inflammation, please pay more attention to it!
